| Justin T. Lahman – jlahman@axisgeospatial.com
President / CEO
Upon joining a very small photogrammetry company in
1988, Mr. Lahman was one of 3 individuals employed by
the firm and accredits his skill diversity to participating
in this very small, but promising start-up company.
Being one of three, Mr. Lahman had to learn every aspect
of photogrammetric map production as well as business
administration.
Mr. Lahman is no stranger to the environment of a small,
rapidly growing company. Skill diversity, sacrifice,
risk management and multitasking are all requirements
in such an environment. Decisions were rarely made without
team consensus, which resulted in exposure to all areas
of company development.Mr. Lahman and his 3 colleagues
were directly responsible for building a small company
of 40 people and $3.5 million in revenues before being
acquired by a large investment firm in 1998.
Mr. Lahman participated as a Senior Manager and was
exposed to new business strategies and directions. Further
advancement in financial and account management was
necessary due to reporting requirements by the Venture
Capitalists. Exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions
gave way to involvement in acquisition integration and
multi-locational business operations covering the Continental
U.S. and the World.
In summary, Mr. Lahman has been a part of a small growing
company from 3 people and $300,000 in Annual Revenues
to 250 people and $20 Million in Annual Revenues. Participating
in the top management of this company has given Mr.
Lahman substantial business and technical knowledge,
which allows him to make sound decisions and judgements
to achieve success.
In November of 2001, Mr. Lahman and his long time business
partner, Dave Rorrer, started Axis GeoSpatial LLC and
the success continues.
Mr. Lahman’s 14 years of proven experience in
the Spatial Data Industry is very diverse and extensive
covering both business and technical areas. His strong
technical background combined with his extensive project
and business management experience has made him the
premium choice on large programs/projects.
Mr. Lahman has managed several large, multi-year projects
consisting of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, GIS, Cadastral
and several other related mapping sciences. These projects
ranged in size from 200 acres to over 4000 square miles
and complexity in scope such as 10 & 20 scale highway
mapping from helicopter photography, 40 & 50 scale
mapping for sanitary sewer design and municipal and
utility management, regional Color Digital Ortho-imagery,
and the list goes on.
His project experience extends geographically to almost
every state in the domestic US; with a majority of his
experience in every state between Virginia and Maine.
Internationally he has managed projects in Mexico and
Hungary. This type of exposure and experience with such
diversity in scope and geography allow Mr. Lahman to
successfully manage the most difficult of projects. |
