Upon joining a very small photogrammetry company in 1988, Mr. Lahman was one of 3 individuals employed by the firm and accredits his skill diversity to participating in this very small, but promising start-up company. Being one of three, Mr. Lahman had to learn every aspect of photogrammetric map production as well as business administration.

Mr. Lahman is no stranger to the environment of a small, rapidly growing company. Skill diversity, sacrifice, risk management and multitasking are all requirements in such an environment. Decisions were rarely made without team consensus, which resulted in exposure to all areas of company development.Mr. Lahman and his 3 colleagues were directly responsible for building a small company of 40 people and $3.5 million in revenues before being acquired by a large investment firm in 1998.

Mr. Lahman participated as a Senior Manager and was exposed to new business strategies and directions. Further advancement in financial and account management was necessary due to reporting requirements by the Venture Capitalists. Exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions gave way to involvement in acquisition integration and multi-locational business operations covering the Continental U.S. and the World.

In summary, Mr. Lahman has been a part of a small growing company from 3 people and $300,000 in Annual Revenues to 250 people and $20 Million in Annual Revenues. Participating in the top management of this company has given Mr. Lahman substantial business and technical knowledge, which allows him to make sound decisions and judgements to achieve success.

In November of 2001, Mr. Lahman and his long time business partner, Dave Rorrer, started Axis GeoSpatial LLC and the success continues.

Mr. Lahman’s 14 years of proven experience in the Spatial Data Industry is very diverse and extensive covering both business and technical areas. His strong technical background combined with his extensive project and business management experience has made him the premium choice on large programs/projects.

Mr. Lahman has managed several large, multi-year projects consisting of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, GIS, Cadastral and several other related mapping sciences. These projects ranged in size from 200 acres to over 4000 square miles and complexity in scope such as 10 & 20 scale highway mapping from helicopter photography, 40 & 50 scale mapping for sanitary sewer design and municipal and utility management, regional Color Digital Ortho-imagery, and the list goes on.

His project experience extends geographically to almost every state in the domestic US; with a majority of his experience in every state between Virginia and Maine. Internationally he has managed projects in Mexico and Hungary. This type of exposure and experience with such diversity in scope and geography allow Mr. Lahman to successfully manage the most difficult of projects.
