Our Approach
The Geographic Information Systems / Land Information Systems
(GIS / LIS) Industry is in its infancy and growing, as well
as expanding, at a phenomenal rate. Due to this tremendous
growth, there is an increasing need for detailed geospatial
information that not only is accurate and current, but is
also intelligent. GIS is simply how people are managing resources
geographically. It is how they’re recording, maintaining
and analyzing current spatial information unique to their
needs.
Analog and analytical instruments are rapidly being replaced
by Digital Softcopy Instruments. With exception to aerial film,
our technical approach is completely Digital. Standard with
our service are high-resolution image scans of every photographic
frame in the flight, archived on site and available upon request.
Other digital products such as rectified photography and digital
orthophotography are easily available AND affordable because
of our process.
Our 100% digital softcopy technology allows us to be more accurate
and thorough by providing a “Heads-Up – 3D display” allowing
our staff to see at higher resolution and verify the identification
of all visible features. All digitized data is viewed real-time
over the stereo imagery, as it’s collected and reviewed
in our QA/QC process. This technology allows us to deliver
more information as a standard, not as an extra charge.
Automation and efficiency ensures a faster solution at a lower
cost, translating into increased capacity. Our technology allows
us to provide Value-Add services by delivering useful byproducts
of the process. In the future, these now “byproducts”,
will become the standard request for delivery.
Our approach is simple — manage every project with qualified
project managers and leverage the best human and system resources
in order to complete the project on time, on budget and meet
all technical requirements, regardless of project size. Your
project will be managed by an AMA (American Management Association)
Certified Project Manager and an ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist
when under the control of Axis GeoSpatial. What does this mean
to you? It means an individual trained to manage projects – not
just photogrammetric processes – is managing your project.
We assign a qualified Project Manager on your project during
the Proposal Phase. Our Proposals are not just Proposals – they
are Project Plans containing the framework by which the project
will be executed and completed.
