Regional Account Manager
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to develop, grow and maintain relationships with Regional and State government agencies, Transportation Markets, A/E Firms, and other geospatial solutions within your regional area of expertise.
In this role you will have to opportunity to:
Work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing Team to develop and execute growth strategies. You will develop and utilize your own professional network to work with existing clients and to identify new clients, securing new Surveying and Mapping geospatial business opportunities.
You are responsible for:
Identifying, creating, developing and driving opportunities with regional stakeholders that have a need for aerial LiDAR and Imagery, Land Surveying, Mapping, and GIS data services and solutions;
Developing and driving detailed customer focused strategic plans for targeted organizations;
Leading capture teams from lead development, estimates, proposal development, technical response, project initiation and account management;
Understanding the client’s budgets and acquisition timelines;
Developing, managing and maintaining healthy customer pipelines;
Managing and ensuring customer satisfaction on all assigned accounts;
Performing project management duties as necessary;
Creating weekly and monthly Territory Sales forecast and Sales Funnel Analysis;
Quoting prices, credit terms and other specifications as well as negotiating prices and terms of sales and service agreements;
Identifying prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences;
Supporting all business development activities by representing the company at client meetings and by developing and managing long term strategy to promote growth through partnering
To succeed in this, you should have the following skills and experience:
At least a general understanding of aerial remote sensing, LiDAR, photogrammetry surveying, GIS and Engineering;
Significant experience in Geospatial, Photogrammetry, LiDAR, Surveying and Engineering will be of best benefit;
Highly motivated team player with a mature, positive attitude and passion to meet the challenges and opportunities of a business;
Support proposal development activities by understanding the RFP and contributing to writing/editing/review as necessary;
Able to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel, educating and presenting information to customers;
Experience managing large projects and/or initiatives;
5+ years of leadership or sales experience providing geospatial data to regional and state agencies, A/E firms, and building partnerships opportunities with geospatial data partners;
Able to effectively communicate and coordinate on a continuous basis with senior management, project managers, and operations staff;
Be detail-oriented and self-motivated, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced research & development environment;
Ability to travel domestically up to 50%;
Valid driver’s license
